Pricing guide
Intelex pricing and Intelex software pricing, with what Intelex costs in real US contracts
This page is for a US EHS director, controller or sustainability lead with Intelex on a shortlist, or an Intelex renewal on the desk, who wants a real number before the next sales call. Two public sources give one. Intelex's own pricing page prints a starting price for its entry tier, and USAspending.gov, the federal government's award database, records what US agencies actually paid Intelex Technologies year by year. Both were read in October 2026.
We sell a competing carbon product, so weigh our half of the page accordingly. Intelex is an EHSQ platform first, and for a company that already runs incidents, audits and permits on it, adding ESG Management can be the sensible route. To see how your own supplier spend classifies before you compare quotes, run a few invoice lines through our carbon accounting software in the panel below.

How much does Intelex cost?
Intelex costs from $13,200 a year for Safety Essentials (25 users at $44 per user per month, billed annually), and the Advanced and Enterprise tiers are priced by quote. In US federal award records, agencies running the full platform paid between $34,188 and $60,141 a year in 2025 and 2026. None of those figures includes ESG Management specifically, which Intelex sells only inside the two quoted tiers.
Intelex's pricing page describes three tiers. Safety Essentials is a self-serve safety package for small and mid-sized teams: incident management with near-miss reporting, action plans and inspections, with training, document control, meetings and observations as add-ons. Advanced covers safety, health, environment, ESG and sustainability, and quality with "rapid deployment, services-assisted". Enterprise adds API access, the most configurable versions of each application and subject-matter guidance during deployment. Only the first tier has a number next to it.

Read the federal figures for what they are. They are amounts obligated per year to Intelex Technologies for EHS systems at public agencies, and the records do not list the modules or user counts behind them. A private company's quote will be scoped differently. What the records do show reliably is the order of magnitude for a working Intelex deployment and, more usefully, how the price moves after you sign.
Intelex software pricing rises 5% to 7% a year at renewal
The Army record is the most useful one on this page, because it is the same system renewed without a break for eight years. The yearly amounts are $33,996 in 2019, $35,696 in 2020, $37,481 in 2021, $40,104 in 2022, $42,911 in 2023, $45,915 in 2024, $48,211 in 2025 and $50,622 in 2026. That is a 5% increase in each of 2020 and 2021, 7% in each of 2022, 2023 and 2024, and 5% again in 2025 and 2026. Over seven renewals the annual bill grew 49% with no recorded change in scope.
Two things follow for a buyer. First, the year-one quote understates the contract: at a 7% uplift, a $40,000 first year is about $128,600 over three years and $230,000 over five. Second, the uplift is negotiable in a way the base price often is not. The same record shows it moving between 5% and 7%, so a written cap belongs in the order form before signature, not at the first renewal.
The NOAA record shows the other pattern worth knowing. The first year of each award is far higher than the years after it ($41,799 against $26,159 in 2021, $60,141 against $34,188 in 2025), which is what a contract looks like when setup, migration or upgrade work is loaded into year one. Ask for the recurring subscription and the one-time work as separate lines.
Three lines to ask Intelex to separate
Subscription by tier and application
Essentials is per user. Advanced and Enterprise are quoted on the applications, sites and users in scope. Ask for the ESG Management line on its own.
Deployment and data migration
Both quoted tiers are "services-assisted". In the NOAA records the first year ran 60% to 76% above the recurring year.
Renewal uplift
5% to 7% a year in the Army record from 2019 to 2026. Get the cap in writing for the initial term and the first renewal.
Intelex ESG and carbon pricing
Intelex does not publish a price for ESG Management, and none of the federal awards above names it. The pricing page places ESG and sustainability in the Advanced and Enterprise tiers only, so a company that wants Intelex for carbon is buying a quoted platform tier, not the $44 per user package. Intelex describes ESG Management as shipping with emission factor libraries across Scope 1, 2 and 3 plus waste and water, user-defined calculations, and content packs for ESRS and CDP.
The cost question for carbon is where your data sits. Intelex collects sustainability data the way it collects safety data, through forms and workflows at each site, which suits fuel, electricity, refrigerant, waste and water. Scope 3 for most US companies is purchased goods and services, and that data is already in accounts payable as supplier invoices. Getting it into an EHSQ platform means configuration and mapping work on top of the subscription. If Intelex already runs your sites, that work is incremental. If it does not, you are funding a platform rollout to produce one inventory. The product comparison is on Intelex alternatives for carbon accounting.

Intelex pricing next to other published EHS and carbon prices
Most enterprise EHS and ESG suites sell by quote. Where a vendor publishes, the figure below comes from its own pricing page, AWS Marketplace listing or government price list; where it does not, the row says so and names the buyer data used. The Cority and Sphera rows are UK public-sector list prices in pounds for safety modules, because neither publishes a carbon price.
| Vendor and plan | Price per year | Pricing basis |
|---|---|---|
| Intelex Safety Essentials | From $13,200 ($44 per user per month, 25 users) | Per user, billed annually; safety only |
| Intelex full platform (US federal records) | $34,188 to $60,141 in 2025 and 2026 | Quoted; renewals up 5% to 7% a year |
| Cority Safety Cloud module | £12,443 to £34,650 per module, UK G-Cloud 14 | Module plus users plus implementation, three-year term |
| SpheraCloud Health and Safety core module | £31,000 per module at 250 users, UK G-Cloud 14 | Per module by user bundle, setup from £45,000 |
| Microsoft Sustainability Manager | $48,000 Essentials, $144,000 Premium | Per tenant |
| IBM Envizi ESG Suite | From $30,000 | Data volume, AWS Marketplace |
| Watershed | Not published; Vendr buyer median $70,031 | Custom quote |
| CarbonAccounting.ai | Ledger $2,340, Compliance $7,740, Assurance $23,400, Enterprise $41,880 | Published plans, AP ledger in, evidenced inventory out |
Is Intelex worth the cost?
Intelex is worth the cost when carbon is one of several programs you want on one EHSQ platform. A manufacturer or utility that already runs incidents, audits, permits and training in Intelex has the sites, users and workflows in place, and the Army and NOAA records show agencies renewing it year after year without competing the contract, which is what a system people depend on looks like. For a small safety team, the Essentials tier at a published per-user price is a fair way in.
It is more than the job needs when the job is one defensible inventory. A customer questionnaire, a CDP response or a first SB 253 report is a finance-data exercise for most companies: classify the supplier ledger, add fuel and electricity, attach evidence. That does not need a platform tier, a services-assisted deployment or a renewal that grows 5% to 7% a year.
A cheaper route when carbon is the only job
Upload the vendor ledger from your ERP and every line gets a proposed scope and one of the 15 Scope 3 categories with a reason and a confidence score. Only uncertain lines go to a reviewer, every override is logged, and every tonne stays linked to the invoice line that produced it, which is what an assurance provider samples. Plans run from $2,340 to $41,880 a year, monthly or annual, and the price is on the pricing page before you talk to anyone. How to negotiate an Intelex quote
- 01 Cap the renewal uplift in writing. Public records show 5% in some years and 7% in others on the same contract. Ask for a cap at or below 5% for the initial term and the first renewal.
- 02 Split year one. Ask for the recurring subscription and the deployment, migration and training work as separate lines, so you can see what year two costs before you sign year one.
- 03 Price ESG Management alone. If safety already runs elsewhere, ask what the ESG application costs without the rest of the Advanced tier, and what the minimum platform fee is.
- 04 Ask which tier your requirement forces. API access and data integrations sit in Enterprise on the pricing page. If you need to load an AP export on a schedule, confirm the tier before comparing prices.
- 05 Fix a date for the first reported inventory. A services-assisted deployment has a timeline. Put the date of the first usable Scope 1, 2 and 3 total in the Statement of Work.
- 06 Count users before the demo. Essentials is per user with a 25-user floor. Know how many people will log in as full users and how many only submit a form.
