The plain-language summary

Creating an account on CarbonAccounting.ai is free and no charge is made for it. It does not start a subscription: a subscription begins only when you choose a plan and confirm it. The demo on this site is free. Creating an account is not a purchase and creates no payment obligation.

Renewals and failed payments. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. When a new billing period begins, access for that whole period is granted and the payment for it is due. If the charge does not go through, the payment remains due and we retry it. Cancelling after a new period has begun only switches off later renewals; it does not cancel the payment for the period that has already started. Such a renewal charge is not refundable, and your access continues until the end of that paid period. The fee is for access to the service for the period, not for using it, so not having used the service is not a ground for a refund.

2. Accounts, pricing and billing

Creating an account adds your confirmed email address to our records and lets us contact you about the product. Prices published on this site are the prices for the plans described. Creating an account does not start a subscription and does not authorise any charge: a subscription begins only when you choose a plan and confirm it, under the subscription terms presented to you at that point. Accounts may be opened, paused or closed at our discretion.

Subscription payments are final. A charge is returned only for a double charge, a proven unauthorised charge or a total outage, under the conditions in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms. Plans bought before 14 October 2026 keep the terms that applied when they were bought.

3. The demo

The Scope Classifier produces a spend-based screening estimate generated in part by an AI model. It is provided as-is, for evaluation, and is not audit-grade, not a verified GHG inventory, and not professional, legal or compliance advice. Do not file it. Do not paste confidential or personal data; input limits and rate limits apply, and abusive use may be blocked.

4. Intellectual property

Site content, the design system and the demo are CarbonAccounting's. Your pasted data remains yours; we claim no rights over it and do not retain it (see the privacy policy). You may quote reasonable excerpts of our content with attribution and a link.

5. No warranties, limited liability

This website and its free demo are provided as they are. To the maximum extent permitted by law it is provided without warranties of any kind, and CarbonAccounting's aggregate liability arising from your use of it is limited to zero, matching what you paid. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

6. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above moves when we do. Polish law governs, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
