Carbon reporting software: the output is only as good as the ledger
A report generator bolted onto a spreadsheet produces confident-looking tables with nothing underneath. When the auditor or the customer asks how a figure was derived, the report is only defensible if each number resolves to classified lines with methods and factors. That resolution chain is the design center of our carbon accounting software: reports are projections of the ledger, so they inherit its evidence.
The outputs that matter in practice
- A GHG Protocol inventory: totals by scope and Scope 3 category, with method shares (how much is spend-based vs activity-based).
- A basis-of-preparation note: boundary, methods, factor sets, exclusions. The demo below drafts one per run.
- Framework packs: CSRD/ESRS E1, ISSB/IFRS S2, CBAM (planned, Compliance tier).
- Customer answers: the growing share of reporting that is one buyer asking one supplier for one number, with evidence.
